After several years in foster care, Billy finally succumbed to old age. He had begun having trouble walking, and had to be carried up and down stairs. In addition, he was exhibiting all the signs of Canine Cognitive Dysfunction, or doggie Alzheimers. Life no longer held any pleasure for him; he was put to sleep in November 2006. Many thanks to the College Park Animal Hospital for taking such good care of him over the years. He is missed by his foster mom and his many doggie friends.
