Baby

Baby showed up in our back yard about 6 months ago as a skinny youngster. For three months he would not come close to anyone. We fed him for about 5-6 months. My wife finally earned his trust and he cautiously allow her to pet him about two months ago. We gained even more of his trust during the past 2 months and we coaxed him to come inside the house to eat. He would only come in if the door remained opened and he was next to the door. He would freak out if we closed the door. We fed him inside the house for a couple of weeks and then finally caught him. We took him to the vet where he got rabies vaccination, FVRCP 3 year vaccination, his nails clipped, a check up and neutered. Sadly he tested positive for feline leukemia. He is in perfect health otherwise. We can not keep him because we have two other indoor cats and the leukemia is contagious. He needs a home where he can be by himself and live indoors. He is now as sweet as can be and will love on us all day long if we let him. He has accepted everyone in my family and we all love on him. He is beautiful, sweet and just a good guy.
