Slippers is a recently spay momma of four kittens. She was living in a backyard, when she had her kittens and was taken into a home. The rescuer hoped to be able to find them all homes, but only succeeded in placing three of the kittens. That's when the call came in to our PAW cat telephone line.
Slippers is a black and white female cat who was born approximately one year before she had her kittens. Her remaining kitten is Midnight Blue. Although the rescuer wanted to have them adopted together, that is not always possible. Slippers' kitten is now old enough to be on her own, if she must.
Slippers is a little shy, but with time and love, we think she will come out of her shell. She would do best as a solo cat, unless, of course, you also want to adopt her daughter. She enjoys being petted and brushing, but is not yet what is considered a "lap" cat. In the meantime she allows her foster to trim her nails.
