AARON

[AARON ] [AARON ]

AARON was found running at large and was not reclaimed at the end of his hold time. He can be a little bit goofy, clownish in his antics. He has a lot of personality and enjoys the attention he gets from his volunteer friends. Aaron loves to take walks to enjoy the sights and sounds and fresh air. He loves everyone and is very excited to greet and meet new people. AARON hopes to meet his new family soon. Perhaps you are his special someone?

Aaron has been with us for a little while now. We are not quite sure why as he is very special and just the cutest thing with his lab body on his basset legs—a big dog in a little dog’s body or is it a little dog in a big dog’s body? Perhaps it is black dog syndrome, as they are noted for being overlooked in shelter environments.

Aaron is quite smart and has been learning clicker trainer. He is very receptive to it and focuses extremely well with this new activity. We are glad he has found a new avocation to keep him from focusing on the fact that he has been trying to wait patiently for a while now for his forever person to find him. He appears housetrained and seems to have general good manners from his visits to a volunteer’s home. We know AARON will make a great pet and hope that someone recognizes this soon so that he can get on with his life’s adventures.
