Meet Amos! He is the most happy-go-lucky guy you will ever come across. What's amazing is he is this way, despite how he ended up at PAW. His owner died and Amos was turned into the shelter, however the owner apparently hadn't been able to properly take care of him for quite a while as Amos was a matted mess. Amos is a work in progress. He has double cherry eye, which PAW is hoping to have surgically corrected. Unfortunately, along the way we discovered he has kidney issues. He is now on a special kidney diet and is doing better. He will need to be on this special diet the remainder of his life. But don't feel bad for Amos, he could care less. He just wants to spend his time playing with his toys and tennis balls. He has a favorite toy that goes with him everywhere....he even takes it outside with him. Amos does well with his two canine foster brothers. He is housebroken, although has an occasional accident which we believe is related to his kidney issues. His foster Mom does recommend he be crated when not supervised though, as he seems to have reverted back to puppyhood...he is a master chewer and explorer, excited to see what he can get into. Come meet Amos, you won't regret adding this sweet boy to your family!
