DEXTER

Dexter is super sweet and extremely athletic and playful. He plays very well with other dogs, even big ones. He even tries to play with his foster family's cats! He retrieves his toys happily and has shown extraordinary promise as a flyball prospect. Although he is a very friendly dog, he can get a bit over-excited, especially around exuberant young children. While he means them no harm, his jumping and mouthing in play may be frightening for a small child. So, for this reason, we recommend that he go to a home without small children and with someone who can give him appropriate outlets for his energy, intelligence and athletic talents.

Our Dexter is a pleasure to walk on a leash and is as good as gold in the car. He is still working on the housebreaking thing and is nearly there - but then, hey, nobody's perfect!
