LANCE

Handsome Lance was abandoned by his young owner at a very early stage, after she left home. Turned loose on the streets briefly, he wound up in a shelter, unwanted, unloved, and never having known what it was like to be with a loving family.

Lance is easy to walk, loves car rides, and is longing to find a family that will give him plenty of exercise in a nice backyard as well as out walking on leash! He is a very gentle soul who already knows how to sit and go "down" and is keen to learn more (especially if treats are involved!)

Lance is still sometimes wary when first meeting other dogs his own size, though with careful introduction he is fine. He would probably do best in a home where he is either the only dog or at least the dominant one. Lance can not be placed in a home with cats.
