ROXIE

Please meet Roxie. This sweet girl loves people, despite her earlier treatment. She came to PAW after having spent 4 years chained outside, in an area covered with waste. As she was vulnerable to other dogs in the neighborhood, she was surrounded by puppies. When PAW got Roxie she had heartworms but has already received treatment and is now fine to resume normal activities. With all that has happened to her, she still has a happy demeanor. Contact us if you think you can provide for her a loving and forever home.

UPDATE: Roxie is good with other dogs, is getting used to life indoors and shows signs of having had that kind of life in her past. Some things we take for granted are new to her, such as walking up and down stairs but she is learning quickly and will be just fine. Roxie longs for a home with a human companion or companions that she can call her own. She is housebroken and she would do best in a cat-free home.
