SCOUT

Scout is sweet, gentle and loving. He just wants to be with people, and so follows his foster mom all over the house. He loves to put his head on your lap while you pet him and he tries to curl up as close as he can to you. He is fine with other dogs, as long as they don't get in his face and annoy him, but even then he tells them off without being aggressive.

He is house-trained and has had no accidents in his foster home, he walks wonderfully on leash and rides well in the car. Scout cannot be placed in a home with cats.

True to his border collie heritage, Scout is very smart and will be a fast learner. He will need and enjoy some kind of training (obedience, agility, flyball, freestyle, etc) to keep his brain active, so we are looking for a home where his people will be prepared to give him plenty of exercise for his mind AND body, as well as lots of the love and cuddles he craves so much.
