SEAMUS

Seamus and Sean are adorable little bichon brothers not yet a year old. They are learning to walk on a leash, and learning to trust people. They LOVE to sit on a lap for a cuddle if you pick them up. Seamus will lick you with lots of kisses if you let him, and will grab your pantsleg to tug for attention (even if you're wearing shorts!). Sean is more shy, and you have to catch him to give him a hug, but it's easy to do, and he quite enjoys the attention. They were rescued from a "puppy mill" at about 6 months, which is probably the first time they ever had access to grass, and boy you should see them bounce now when the go outside. They really love to play with each other, and always sleep cuddled together. Their foster family really hopes to find someone who wants to adopt them as a pair.

They are not yet housebroken, but do seem to hold it overnight when they are kept in their dog crate. (they would much prefer to sleep in bed with people but unfortunately they need to be housebroken first ;-) They seem to have a sensitivity to some dogfoods, so we are still trying to determine which brand of dry food they can digest best. Also, they have a skin irritation that causes scabs which is still being diagnosed (bichons are prone to allergies, so that might be the cause)

Being puppies, they will gladly chew on anything they can find (toys, books, shoes, cups, you name it) and won't hesitate to jump up on the couch if you walk away and leave food within reach on the end table.

Seamus is curlier than Sean, but since they're still pups, they haven't gotten their full double bichon coats yet, so they will look much different a year from now once their adult coats grow in.
